珠海野貍島日月貝劇院夜景

珠海市野貍島海濱，矗立著珠海大劇院。入夜，美景迷人。劇院由大小兩個“貝殼”，構(gòu)成劇院的整體形象，得名“日月貝”。遠望之， “日”、“月” “明”亮。劇院內(nèi)，燈火輝煌，演出精彩；劇院外，水面華燈放異彩，疑是銀河落珠海。觀賞之余，思天想地。涂鴉四句，五言古風(fēng)；英詩配之，抑揚四步。獻丑君前，祈請正之！

銀河臨珠海，助演好夜景？
Nightscape of the Sun & Moon Shells on the Jungle Cat Island

Zhuhai Opera House stands on the Jungle Cat Island by the sea. The House consists of two "shells" in shape of the Sun and the Moon, hence another name for the building complex, the Sun & Moon Shells.
The Chinese characters日（sun）and月（moon）form a new one明（bright）. The nightscape is so charming that the Sun and Moon Shells are bright smilingly, that inside the House it is ablaze with lights and wonderful performance and that outside, the lights on the water brilliantly shine as if the Milky Way visits Zhuhai. Enjoying such a night scene, and thinking from the sky to the ground, I pen four five-character lines in ancient Chinese poetic style and put it into an English poem of iambic tetrameter. The bilingual poems need improvement and comments and suggestions are appreciated.
The sky is starless，wanting light，
The lsland's Sun and Moon so bright！
Are all the stars now visiting Zhuhai
To help perform a brilliant night？

羅永，男，湖北恩施人，畢業(yè)于武漢大學(xué)，現(xiàn)任北京理工大學(xué)珠海學(xué)院外國語學(xué)院副院長。研究興趣為外國語言學(xué)及應(yīng)用語言學(xué)、跨文化交際等。
雙語詩人簡介：
吳偉雄，廣東新會人，英語譯審。中國譯協(xié)四、五屆理事，專家會員，獲“資深翻譯家”證書。先后奉職廣東肇慶、云浮兩市外事部門多年，外交部授“資深地方外事工作者”稱號。曾赴五大洲20多個國家任隨團翻譯或參加國際會議。廣東省譯協(xié)和廣州外事翻譯學(xué)會創(chuàng)會理事，肇慶、云浮兩市譯協(xié)創(chuàng)會會長、榮譽會長。2006-2017年，任北理工珠海學(xué)院外國語學(xué)院教授，授《漢英互譯》、《英語詩歌選讀》、《中英詩歌鑒賞》等，曾任《獨立學(xué)院外語界》主編。在《中國翻譯》，《中國科技翻譯》和《上海翻譯》發(fā)文16篇，出版編著5本。2005年在中國譯協(xié)和桂林市府合辦的“桂林山水甲天下”名句國際譯文征集活動中獲連珠三獎：優(yōu)秀獎（第一名），入圍獎和鼓勵獎。
