詩人簡介：
韋光延，男，1969年生，廣西桂林人，畢業(yè)于廣西師范大學(xué)漢語言文學(xué)專業(yè)，愛好文學(xué)、詩詞鑒賞與書法，熱衷于古人類石器收藏和文化遺產(chǎn)的傳播展覽，曾任中學(xué)語文教師，后在賀州市委宣傳部新聞科工作，廣西民俗攝影協(xié)會會員，發(fā)表詩歌散文和新聞報道多篇，現(xiàn)在桂林從事旅游工作，現(xiàn)已整理多篇詩作歸入《不見·相見》詩集擬出版。
說鼠傳說迎鼠年

鼠年快來了。在西方，中國十二生肖的十二種動物可能越來越為人所熟悉。可是，為什么鼠居首位呢？有一個傳說：天地之初，渾沌未開；老鼠勇敢地把天咬開一個洞，太陽的光芒終于出現(xiàn)，天地由此分開。老鼠也成為一位開天辟地的英雄。老鼠的圖騰，象征著對太陽的崇拜、對光明的追求。
十二生肖居首位，
貓雖討喜未排名。
鼠咬天開破混沌，
計功受賞是常情。
Review a Legend in Ushering in the Year of Mouse
（A Poem in Archaic Style with a Preface）

The year of mouse is coming soon. In the West, the twelve creatures of the Chinese zodiac signs may have become increasingly familiar. But why the mouse stands first in the Chinese zodiac signs? A legend has it that in the very beginning, the sky and the earth were in one blurred entity. It was a mouse that bit bravely a hole in the sky and the sun began to shine, and then the sky was parted from the earth. The mouse was thus reputed as one creator to separate the heaven from the ground. The mouse totem is a symbol to worship the sun in pursuit of the bright.
The mouse’s the first in Chinese zodiac signs;
Though lovable the cat to the list never aligns.
For biting open the sky as one creator,
The mouse was worthy winning the fame later.
詩譯者簡介：
吳偉雄，男，廣東新會人，英語譯審。中國翻譯協(xié)會四、五屆理事（1998-2009），專家會員。2011年中國譯協(xié)授予“資深翻譯家”榮譽證書。好為詩詞佳句譯事票友。先后在廣東肇慶和云浮兩市從事外事管理和翻譯工作。2006-2017年，受聘北京理工大學(xué)珠海學(xué)院外國語學(xué)院教授，授《漢英互譯》、《英語詩歌選讀》和《中英詩歌鑒賞》等。在《中國翻譯》，《中國科技翻譯》和《上海翻譯》發(fā)文16篇，出版編著5本。2005年在中國譯協(xié)和桂林市人民政府合辦的“桂林山水甲天下”名句國際譯文征集活動中獲連珠三獎：優(yōu)秀獎（第一名），入圍獎和鼓勵獎。
