Your bright eyes and smiling face looking at me
In the morning sunshine

The girl who treats you as the whole world
Because of you
I’ve never stopped moving forward
Scenes around me
Quietly tell me fairy tales
The wind
Brings me the most concerning stories
From time to time
Every part of the city
Was spreading rumours- -
All sorts of legends were made
But I only care about
Watching the sun rising every day
Together with you
Enjoy the dribs and drabs of life
With the most beautiful posture

Gerry Spoors comes from the North-East of England and has written poetry throughout his life. Professionally ，he is a Chartered Chemist and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.His new book ‘Arthur of the Red Robe’ has been published 。
