小草和大樹(shù)

一棵小草愛(ài)上了遠(yuǎn)方的大樹(shù)。
她喜歡他一臉陽(yáng)光，葉葉金翠的樣子。
她喜歡他滿臉笑容，心花怒放的樣子。
A little grass fell in love with a big tree in the distance.
She liked his sunny face, his green and golden leaves.
She liked the way whenever he wore confident smiles.
她喜歡他高大挺拔的樣子，
她喜歡他在風(fēng)雨中談笑自若的樣子。
她喜歡他幽默智慧的樣子，
她喜歡他儒雅紳士的樣子。
She liked his majestic height and the way when he talked and laughed in the rain.
She liked his humorous, witty remarks and the gentleness in his style.
于是，小草開(kāi)始努力地讓自己成長(zhǎng)，
希望有一天可以離大樹(shù)近一些。
So, the grass began to work hard to let herself grow, hoping that one day she could get close to the tree.
小草的努力大樹(shù)看到了。
于是他也努力地成長(zhǎng)。
希望可以離小草近一些。
終于，小草離大樹(shù)越來(lái)越近了。
越來(lái)越近的小草愈加看到了大樹(shù)的偉岸挺拔，
還有他接受到更多陽(yáng)光的燦爛芳華。
Seeing the grass's efforts the tree tried to grow quick and fast.
He also wanted to get near to the grass.
Finally, the grass came closer and closer to the tree and saw his immense size and straightness,
and his power of receiving more sunshine.
她看到他在陽(yáng)光下的明媚笑容，
她看到他在風(fēng)雪中的隱忍堅(jiān)持，
她看到他在雷雨中的不屈不撓，
盡管，每一片葉子都曾經(jīng)飽受風(fēng)霜雨雪的擊打，
沖刷，他也是悄悄地讓淚水流下。
陽(yáng)光后，他依然偉岸挺拔。
She saw his bright smiles in the sun;
she saw his forbearance in the snow;
And she saw his perseverance in the thunderstorm.
His every leaf was beaten by the wind and rain, frost and snow, and he also quietly wept tears, Yet, he still kept tall and straight under the sun.
小草默默地哭泣了。
她開(kāi)始討厭自己的不夠高大，
不能替她心愛(ài)的大樹(shù)遮擋一絲絲的雨雪交加。
Quietly, the grass cried and began to blame herself for being not tall enough to cover up the rain and snow of her beloved tree.
小草變得沉默，
她失去了曾經(jīng)的笑靨如花。
The grass became silent and lost her flower-like smiles.
小草決定離開(kāi)大樹(shù)，
可是，她發(fā)現(xiàn)她心中的大樹(shù)越來(lái)越高大，
他的影子完全遮住了她。
And she decided to leave the tree.
However, she found that the tree in her heart was getting taller and taller than before,
and she was completely covered by his shadow.
于是，小草開(kāi)始枯萎，
這一切，細(xì)心的大樹(shù)看到了。
他放下一切安慰她。
Shortly afterwards, the grass began to wither,
and all this was witnessed by the tree.
So he dropped everything to comfort her.
樹(shù)的高大愈發(fā)讓小草兒覺(jué)得自己的渺小卑微，
她幾乎要窒息了。
她開(kāi)始討厭自己為什么不是一棵樹(shù)的種子，
那樣，她就可以以樹(shù)的形象和她心愛(ài)的大樹(shù)站在一起了。
The taller the tree grew, the smaller the grass felt. And this almost choked her.
She became indignant. Why she was not the seed of a tree, so that she could stand with her beloved tree？！
小草走了，
大樹(shù)傷心地把淚流下。
他對(duì)小草說(shuō):你陪伴了我這么久，
你的根已經(jīng)長(zhǎng)在我的心上了。
The grass left and the tree wept.
He said to the grass:
" Since you have been with me for so long, your root has grown in my heart."
大樹(shù)哪里知道，
離開(kāi)他的小草，
心 還能完整嗎？！
How could the tree ever know that the heart of the little grass could stay complete after leaving?
