今夜里，我夢見我是海潮，奔涌千里萬里的海潮，尋找飛渡時空的桅桿，尋找椰林掩映的山島。我從大海深處趕來不為別的，只為向你親愛的，向我的夢問一聲好。
今夜里，我夢見我是海潮，晚霞染成金紅的海潮，尋找遨游瀚海的白帆，尋找翅影翩躚的鷗鳥。我從大海深處趕來不為別的，只為向你親愛的，向我的夢問一聲好。
今夜里，我夢見我是海潮，月光下無眠的海潮無眠，因為我隱隱約約望到了螢火點點的海島。
我的夢告訴我，那就是我的燈塔，我從大海深處趕來不為別的，只為靜靜將它環(huán)繞。
今夜里，我夢見我是海潮，東風里哼吟的海潮。哼吟，因為我踏踏實實環(huán)繞著炊煙裊裊的屋寮，我的夢告訴我這就是我的歸巢。
我從大海深處趕來不為別的，只為遺世與你相依牽手，白頭偕老。親愛的，今夜里，我就是海潮。這不是夢，因為我正醒著。
而親愛的，你就在我的臂彎里睡覺。我的波濤，輕輕拍打著你的夢、你的衣、你的袍、你的臉、你的手、你的腳。你睡的那樣熟，那樣沉靜，那樣美好，偶爾喃喃囈語，偶爾甜蜜一笑。
今夜里，我是醒著的海潮，激蕩的海潮，洶涌的海潮，大洋里隔斷陸地陸架的海潮，我奔涌的潮水，將截斷你進入天堂地獄的生死隧道。我們將無緣衰老，越活越少，我們將騎上鯨魚，滿世界漂和海鷗們對歌，和信天翁賽跑和海馬們辯論，和海龜們閑聊。
漂到鼓浪嶼、永暑礁，漂到百慕大、中途島，看風景，睡大覺。搖到尼羅河、好望角，搖到地中海、撒丁島拾貝殼，采海草……

That seeks the white sail traveling the vast ocean,

Ageless we shall live, younger day by day:
We’ll ride a whale, floating everywhere as we may;
We’ll sing antiphon with seagulls, race against goonies,
Debate with seahorses, and chat with sea turtles at ease.
We’ll drift from the Gulangyu Isles to the Fiery Cross Island,
From the Bermudas to the Midway Island,
Sightseeing or sleeping the whole way;
From the Nile to the Cape of Good Hope,
From the Mediterranean to the Sardinia,
Picking seashells and plucking sea-plants...
