以明月寄托對故鄉(xiāng)與父母的思念之情是漢語詩歌常頌常新的主題，曲中插入的童聲合唱《送別》恰好是李叔同填詞的美國歌曲Dreaming of Home and Mother，這首雙語歌曲讓東西方的共同情感在同一首歌曲中交融。
