韋光延，網(wǎng)名德者恒得，廣西桂林人，畢業(yè)于廣西師范大學(xué)漢語言文學(xué)專業(yè)，愛好文學(xué)、詩詞鑒賞與書法，熱衷于古人類石器收藏和文化遺產(chǎn)的傳播展覽，曾在學(xué)校、政府部門和企事業(yè)單位供職，任中學(xué)語文教師，廣西民俗攝影協(xié)會會員，發(fā)表詩歌散文和新聞報道多篇，現(xiàn)在桂林從事旅游工作，現(xiàn)已整理多篇詩作歸入《不見?相見》詩集擬出版。

前言
火棘是繁榮的象征，因為它的果實是紅色的，預(yù)示著好運(yùn)。2020年，世界經(jīng)歷了艱難的一年。我們期待紅色火刺在2021年春天迎來更好的局面。讓我們欣賞詩情畫意的火棘吧。

Firethorn is a symbol of prosperity because its fruit is red, promising good luck. The world has had a tough year in 2020. Let’s hope the red firethorn will usher in better situation in the spring of 2021. Let’s enjoy the fantastic sight in a poetic style.

夏有繁花灌木奇，
虬枝曲干滿身棘。
成熟小果紅秋后，
不懼寒冬雪夜襲。
注：火棘，常綠灌木或小喬木，高可達(dá)6米，火棘樹形優(yōu)美，夏有繁花，秋有紅果，果實存留枝頭甚久，在庭院中做綠籬以及園林造景材料，在路邊可以用作綠籬，美化、綠化環(huán)境。火棘因它的果實為紅色的，好像火焰一樣，所以寓意著紅紅火火。其耐貧瘠，抗干旱，耐寒等特點(diǎn)也符合詮釋中國勞動人民不屈不撓、頑強(qiáng)抗?fàn)幍奶匦浴?/span>2020年世界度過了實屬（鼠）不易的一年，期望2021年新春我們能夠扭（牛）轉(zhuǎn)乾坤。
Firethorns never fear the cold winter

In summer the thorny firethorns show a fantastic sight:
Dense flowers bloom on twisted branches high and low.
In autumn their berry-like pomes matured shine red light;
They’d never fear the cold winter, facing attacking snow.
Note: Firethorn is the common name of pyracantha, a genus of thorny evergreen large shrubs, native to an area extending from Southeast Europe east to Southeast Asia. The plants reach up to 6 meters tall. The flowers are produced during late spring and early summer; the pomes develop from late summer, and mature in late autumn.
Firethorns are valuable ornamental plants for their decorative flowers and fruit. Their dense thorny structure makes them particularly valued in situations where an impenetrable barrier is required as an alternative to artificial fences and walls. They provide dense cover for roosting and nesting birds, summer flowers for bees and an abundance of berries as a food source. The berries are edible only when crushed and washed under running water. They have been made into jelly.

吳偉雄，廣東新會人，英語譯審。中國譯協(xié)四、五屆理事，專家會員，獲“資深翻譯家”證書。先后奉職廣東肇慶、云浮兩市外事部門多年，外交部授“資深地方外事工作者”稱號。曾赴五大洲20多個國家任隨團(tuán)翻譯或參加國際會議。廣東省譯協(xié)和廣州外事翻譯學(xué)會創(chuàng)會理事，肇慶、云浮兩市譯協(xié)創(chuàng)會會長、榮譽(yù)會長。2006-2017年，任北理工珠海學(xué)院外國語學(xué)院教授，授《漢英互譯》、《英語詩歌選讀》、《中英詩歌鑒賞》等，曾任《獨(dú)立學(xué)院外語界》主編。在《中國翻譯》，《中國科技翻譯》和《上海翻譯》發(fā)文16篇，出版編著6本。2005年在中國譯協(xié)和桂林市府合辦的“桂林山水甲天下”名句國際譯文征集活動中獲連珠三獎：優(yōu)秀獎（第一名），入圍獎和鼓勵獎。
