陰陽相隔，

Reflection in the moonlight

With the sun setting,
the moon shadow
and a sad old dream
a chilly wind is blowing,
and nothing is in sight.
A reunion after parting
witnesses great changes.
Crossroads in the earthly world have seen through the bustling mundane society.
Flowers bloom and fall,
going through four seasons and their alternation.
Little bits of time is flowing on the water, mending the starlight with a net,
which catches dust
but fails to reach the expectation of a mind.
Your dedication guides me to take on responsibility,
your tolerance leads me to have a broad mind,
your mercy and kindness teaches me to be grateful and helpful,
but your passing away tortures me all the time.
Strings are broken,
depriving me of music
when I try playing the instrument.
Now we are in different worlds.
Every now and then
I can't help myself complaining and grieving.
I keep sobbing,heart-broken,
lamenting the failure
in my filial duty,
filled with regrets.
The tree desires stillness but the wind won't cease.
As is often the case,
elders are gone before their descendants can afford to be filial……
