An Italian’s Farewell Kiss

Eyes gazing intently with deep affection
Nursing heartbreak and tears
In the final embrace of a husband and wife`
Is the farewell kiss of an Italian doctor
Who gave the key of life to others
While on an escalating path to his own death
Yet his tender-hearted affections still remain
Half of them here on earth
And the rest are buried in hell
