十六字令五首①

讀毛澤東詩詞十六字令三首“山，快馬加鞭未下鞍。”憶四十年前在云南楚雄呂合煤礦時(shí)，曾寫“打油詩”《干》。今憶之，用江韻另填成十六字令《忙》。

忙，
織軌云端斗雨霜② 。
銀鍬震，
夜戰(zhàn)冷山岡。
（二）
忙，
風(fēng)舞龍蛇卷③蟒狂。
連兜拽④，
坡陡首猶昂。
（三）
忙，
輪霧霞飛滾土揚(yáng)⑤。
車奔馳，
滿載褐煤箱。
（四）
忙，
爐火純青墨玉⑥光。
鋼花濺，
巨照映紅墻。
（五）
忙，
灑汗園丁沐葉芳。
枝苗盛，
四處果兒香。
注：①此詞作于1995年6月5日，英譯于2021年5月20日。②在高入云端的山岡上，煤礦工人揮鐵鍬，灑血汗，鋪起拉土絞車的鐵軌道。③指鋼繩、絞盤。④連環(huán)扣在一起的纜兜車，用于拉土。 ⑤朝霞飛舞，晨霧和車輪滾滾揚(yáng)起之土交織在一起。 ⑥指褐煤。
Five Poems of Sixteen Words①

Read Mao Zedong's sixteen word-poem "Peaks ! Whipping the steed without dismounting…."forty years ago at Luhe Coal Mine in Chuxiong, Yunnan, I wrote a "doggerel" —Act. Now I recall, with rhyme [ang] to be composed into five poems of sixteen words Action.

Action!
Weave rails on cloud high facing frost and rain ②.
Wield silver shovel,
Fighting on the cold mountain.
II
Action!
Dance with dragon and snake, coiling python③.
How steep slope is here,
Workers run to haul trailers chain ④.
III
Action!
As clouds flying wheels roll and raise dust grain⑤.
The truck is running,
With full of lignite obtain.
IV.
Action!
In smelting furnace pure blue fire would gain.
Black jade ⑥ lightens on wall,
Splash steel flowers with sparks stain.
V
Action!
Gardener sprinkles sweat on leaves the moist gain,
Seedlings are flourishing,
Fruits’ scents waft again and again.
Note: ① This lyrics was written on June 5, 1995, and translated into English on May 20, 2021. ② On the mountain high up in the clouds, the coal miners wield their spades and sprinkle sweats to lay the iron track for the winches. ③ It refers to steel rope, capstan. (4) A series of chained trailers, used for hauling earth. ⑤ Rosy clouds are floating, and wheels are rolling, the dawn mist together with the earth dusts are being raised. ⑥ It refers to lignite.
詩人/譯者簡(jiǎn)介：
任誠剛，英語教授。1989年畢業(yè)于美國康科迪亞大學(xué)。系威斯康星大學(xué)研究生、旅居美國十四年。1998年回國在云南農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)外語學(xué)院擔(dān)任教學(xué)與測(cè)試室主任、云南省翻譯工作者協(xié)會(huì)理事、研究生高級(jí)文學(xué)翻譯等課程教學(xué)。發(fā)表論文50余篇。出版《韻譯天安門詩抄100首》《英韻周恩來朱德及陳毅詩選五十首》等譯著。
Ren Chenggang，professor of English, graduated from Concordia University US in 1989. He was a graduate student in University of Wisconsin and lived in the United States for 14 years. In 1998, he returned to China and worked at the College of Foreign Languages, Yunnan Agricultural University, serving as the director of the Teaching and Testing Office and is a council member of the Yunnan Translators Association. Teaching Advanced Lilterary Translation and other courses. He has published more than 50 papers. Translation books as rhymed versions of 100 Poems of Tiananmen and 50 selected poems by Zhou Enlai, Zhu De and Chen Yi etc.
