Compliment to China's HUANG Xuechen and SUN Wenyan winning the silver medal in synchronized swimming freestyle final at the Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. It is a beautiful enjoyment to watch its wonderful performances on live television.
Beauties lie on the pool clear,
Melody wafts from far and near.
Blue waves gently lift toward frogs gay,
Fish leap snakes*dive and with daffodils geese play.
Charming beauties gorgeously dance,
Latent shades float fragrance.
The mirror opens as the jade legs spread,
Lotus grows from water, see pendant of bead.

詩人/譯者簡介：
任誠剛，英語教授。1989年畢業(yè)于美國康科迪亞大學。系威斯康星大學研究生、旅居美國十四年。1998年回國在云南農業(yè)大學外語學院擔任教學與測試室主任、云南省翻譯工作者協(xié)會理事、研究生高級文學翻譯等課程教學。發(fā)表論文50余篇。出版《韻譯天安門詩抄100首》《英韻周恩來朱德及陳毅詩選五十首》等譯著。
Ren Chenggang，professor of English, graduated from Concordia University US in 1989. He was a graduate student in University of Wisconsin and lived in the United States for 14 years. In 1998, he returned to China and worked at the College of Foreign Languages, Yunnan Agricultural University, serving as the director of the Teaching and Testing Office and is a council member of the Yunnan Translators Association. Teaching Advanced Lilterary Translation and other courses. He has published more than 50 papers. Translation books as rhymed versions of 100 Poems of Tiananmen and 50 selected poems by Zhou Enlai, Zhu De and Chen Yi etc.
