On the White Clouds

Thick n’ thin clouds of mist and smoke,
Up and down surge forward here.
Of three-thousand feet they roll into a sphere.
Opal Ocean with water and tide silver
The sponge shape is many a hill and river.
Now with the flying eagle,
I overlook thro’ the window.
Clouds and my feelings together freely go.

Boeing plane’s boom echoes into the heaven.

Balance gets checked on period all right.

任誠剛，英語教授，【海外詩譯社】副社長。1989年畢業(yè)于美國康科迪亞大學(xué)，系威斯康星大學(xué)研究生、旅居美國十四年。1998年回國在云南農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)外語學(xué)院擔(dān)任教學(xué)與測試室主任、云南省翻譯工作者協(xié)會(huì)理事、研究生高級(jí)文學(xué)翻譯等課程教學(xué)。發(fā)表論文50余篇。出版《韻譯天安門詩抄100首》《英韻周恩來朱德及陳毅詩選五十首》等譯著。
Ren Chenggang，professor of English, graduated from Concordia University US in 1989. He was a graduate student in University of Wisconsin and lived in the United States for 14 years. In 1998, he returned to China and worked at the College of Foreign Languages, Yunnan Agricultural University, serving as the director of the Teaching and Testing Office and is a council member of the Yunnan Translators Association. Teaching Advanced Lilterary Translation and other courses. He has published more than 50 papers. Translation books as rhymed versions of 100 Poems of Tiananmen and 50 selected poems by Zhou Enlai, Zhu De and Chen Yi etc.
