你們好！中英文繪本故事專欄，我們特邀華裔藝術(shù)家蘇玉蓉老師主講。蘇老師不僅有著扎實(shí)的舞臺表演和話筒前的豐富經(jīng)驗(yàn)和實(shí)力，而且也有海外公立學(xué)校幼教經(jīng)驗(yàn)，是一位資深的幼兒教師。一年來在我臺朗誦了近百篇文學(xué)作品、兒童作品，皆受好評。尤其是《呆家長與熊孩子》公眾平臺開播以來，蘇姐姐講故事專欄受到廣泛好評。蘇老師是國內(nèi)難得的表演藝術(shù)家，更是我臺優(yōu)秀的金牌主播！
The Bear's Vacation

Our summer vacation starts today!
我們的暑假今天開始啦!
And here we are.
我們來啦，
What a wonderful trip!
多么美妙的旅行!
Let's get in the water!
讓我們下水吧!
Let's go for a dip!

Small Bear! Small Bear!
小熊!小熊!
Don't you go too far.
不要走得太遠(yuǎn)，
I want to see you wherever you are.
無論你在哪里，要讓我能看到你。
Don't you worry.
不用擔(dān)心，
Don't you fear.
不要害怕，
I'll show him all the dangers here.
我會向他展示這里所有的危險(xiǎn)。
I'm watching, Dad!
我在看，爸爸！
I'm all set to go!
我準(zhǔn)備好了！
Then here is the first rule you should know.
那么這是你應(yīng)該知道的第一條規(guī)則，
Obey all warning signs!
遵守所有警告標(biāo)志！
Look around.
看看周圍，
Are there any warning signs to be found?
看到什么警告標(biāo)志了嗎？
There is one .And I think you should know.
有一個，我想你應(yīng)該知道，
It says in big letters,
它用大寫字母寫著：
STRONG UNDERTOW!
強(qiáng)大的暗流！
Ah, yes, Small Bear.
啊，是的，小熊。
You're right! It does!
你說得對，的確如此！
Do you see how good my first rule was?
你看到了我的第一條規(guī)則有多好了嗎？
Yes, Papa! Here!
是的，爸爸！這里！
Catch hold of this line.
抓住這根繩子。
I'll be safe when I swim now.
我現(xiàn)在游泳就安全了，
That lesson was fine.
這是很好的一課。
You will be safe when diving, too,
潛水時(shí)你也會很安全，
After I give you rule number two.
等我給你第二個規(guī)則后，
Look first. Then dive when all is clear.
先看看，然后在一切都清楚后潛水。
Now let's take a look.
現(xiàn)在讓我們來看看，
Is there anything near?
附近有什么？
Yes, Dad, there is.
是的爸爸，有，
I see a twig!
我看到一根樹枝！
Never mind that!

It's not very big.

You proved it, Dad.

Even a twig can be bad.

Let's ride on a wave.

Now we go on to rule number three.
現(xiàn)在我們繼續(xù)第三條規(guī)則，
Beware of all rocks when surfing at sea.
在海上沖浪時(shí)，要小心所有的巖石。
Look, Papa! Rocks!
看，爸爸！巖石！
Right there ahead!
就在前面！
We should beware of them as you said.
正如你所說，我們應(yīng)該提防他們。
Those rocks are much too far away.
那些巖石太遠(yuǎn)了，
The surf will not reach those rocks today.
今天的海浪不會到達(dá)那些巖石。
Then, on the other hand,
然而另一方面，
We might end up on those rocks.
我們可能最終落在那些巖石上，
You see? I was right!

I think I understand safety now.

Thank you, Dad, for showing me how!

But I have much more to tell you, my son.

My safety rules have only begun!
我的安全規(guī)則才剛剛開始！
When people vacation at the shore,
當(dāng)人們在岸邊度假時(shí)，
they like to take walks.
他們喜歡散步，
They like to explore.
他們喜歡探索。
So watch your step is rule number four.
所以注意你的腳下是規(guī)則四，
There are many sharp shells along the shore.
岸邊有很多鋒利的貝殼。
Here's a sharp one!
這里有一個尖的！
I'll step with care.
我會小心翼翼的。
But may I keep it?
我可以撿起來嗎？
It looks quite rare.
它看起來非常罕見。
Wait now! Don't touch anything yet!
等一等，不要碰任何東西！
There's another rule you have to get!
還有一條規(guī)則，你必須遵守！
Here it is… rule number five.
這是規(guī)則五，
Watch what you touch. It may be alive!
看看你觸摸的東西，可能還活著呢！
Rules four and five are good to know.
很高興學(xué)到了規(guī)則四和規(guī)則五，
Now I'll be safe wherever I go.
現(xiàn)在無論我走到哪里都是安全的。
Not quite, my son.
不完全是，我的兒子。
Hop into this boat!
跳上這艘船！
You must learn the rule for safety afloat!
你必須學(xué)習(xí)安全漂浮的規(guī)則！
Out in a boat, you must take care.
乘船出海，你必須小心。
And here is rule number six, Small Bear.
這是第六條規(guī)則，小熊。
Keep a sharp lookout!
保持警惕！
It's easy to do.
這很容易做到。
Watch me, now!
現(xiàn)在看我，
I'll do it for you!
我做給你看！
See? Like this!
看見了嗎？像這樣！
Only a fool would sail on the sea without this rule!
只有傻瓜在海上航行，才會不遵守規(guī)則！
It's a very good rule, I can see that ,Dad.
這是一個非常好的規(guī)則，我看得出來，爸爸。
Without it, things might get very bad!
如果沒有規(guī)則，事情就會變得非常糟糕!
I've been happy to learn all you had to teach.
我很高興能學(xué)到您所教的一切，
Are we ready, now, to go back to the beach?
我們現(xiàn)在準(zhǔn)備好回到海灘了嗎？
I have one rule more before we go,
在我們走之前，我還有一個規(guī)則，
And then you'll know all you need to know.
然后你就會明白，所有你應(yīng)該知道的。
One more thing people do at the shore…
人們在岸邊做的另外一件事情，
They go underwater and explore.
他們潛入水下探索。
In exploring underwater places,
在水下探險(xiǎn)，
There are many, many dangerous spaces.
有很多很多地方是危險(xiǎn)的。
And my last rule is simple and clear:
我的最后一條規(guī)則簡單明了：
Stay out of caves when exploring down here!
在水下探險(xiǎn)時(shí)遠(yuǎn)離洞穴！
Hmmm. This cave is big and wide!
嗯，這個洞穴又大又寬，
It might be safe to go inside.
進(jìn)到里面去可能是安全的。
But, papa, do you think you should?
但是爸爸，你認(rèn)為你應(yīng)該這樣做嗎？
Something tells me it wouldn't be good!
我的直覺告訴我，這不會好。
As I was saying,
正如我所說，
stay out of small spaces,
遠(yuǎn)離狹小的空間，
and any other dangerous places!
和任何危險(xiǎn)的地方！
WOW!
哇！
We learned that rule very fast!
我們學(xué)會了這條規(guī)則非常快！
Tell me, Dad, was that the last?
告訴我，爸爸，那是最后一條了嗎？
Yes, that rule was the very last one.
是的，這是最后一條規(guī)則，
My safe vacation rules are done!
我的安全度假規(guī)則講完了！
Ma! You won't have to worry any more!
媽媽，你不用擔(dān)心啦！
Pa taught me how to be safe at the shore!
