前言：今天美國(guó)肯塔基州遭遇龍卷風(fēng)，死亡八十余人 , 傷者、失蹤不計(jì)其數(shù)。此一天災(zāi)讓我回想起在1996年在威斯康辛州密爾沃基西北部小鎮(zhèn)OAKFIELD遇到的龍卷風(fēng)。幾十家房屋被卷平，損失慘重。是夜有雨水。龍卷風(fēng)似天上之烏龍，當(dāng)以水龍吟記之最適。
戶離濕透全身，
傾盆暴雨嘩嘩濺。
電光閃照，
潭溪公路，
聲聲點(diǎn)點(diǎn)。
花露屏窗，
朦朧駕駛，
尺間難見(jiàn)。
欲將車(chē)剎住，
踩蹬卻怕，
半途上，
輪淹陷。
遠(yuǎn)處烏云滾滾。
起狂飆，
急旋如鉆。
魔繩似絞，
九霄直下，
根拔屋卷。
眨眼工夫，
黑龍著地，
一圈成慘。
恨蒼天不義，
損殘百萬(wàn)，
家園重建。

Tornado

Foreword:Today, a tornado hit Kentucky in the United States, killing more than 80 people, wounding and missing countless people. This natural disaster reminds me of the tornado I encountered in Oakfield, a town northwest of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1996. At night, heavy rain pours. A tornado hit the small town of OAKFIELD, northwest of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dozens of homes were flattened and the damage was devastating. At night it rains. The tornado is like the black dragon from the sky. Using Tune: Water Dragon Chanting is the most appropriate.
I got drenched outside the house,
It rains heavily to wake up my dream.
The lightning flashes,
Highway flows as in stream,
Sounds of tick tock.
Dews blur windshield,
In haze driving I no yield,
Hard to see in inch distance.
Try to stop the car,
But to tread, afraid we are,
In halfway no good,
Wheels submerge in flood.
Dark clouds roll from the distance.
Rise the hurricanes,
Quick spin as a drill.
Like twisted magic ropes shrill,
Down from the nine heaven,
Uproot the houses, amen!
In blink of an eye,
Black dragon hits from the high,
A field of misery we cry.
Hate heaven's unfair,
Damages millions of loss,
Home we’d rebuild there.

任誠(chéng)剛，英語(yǔ)教授，【海外詩(shī)譯社】副社長(zhǎng)。1989年畢業(yè)于美國(guó)康科迪亞大學(xué)，系威斯康星大學(xué)研究生、旅居美國(guó)十四年。1998年回國(guó)在云南農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)外語(yǔ)學(xué)院擔(dān)任教學(xué)與測(cè)試室主任、云南省翻譯工作者協(xié)會(huì)理事、研究生高級(jí)文學(xué)翻譯等課程教學(xué)。發(fā)表論文50余篇。出版《韻譯天安門(mén)詩(shī)抄100首》《英韻周恩來(lái)朱德及陳毅詩(shī)選五十首》等譯著。
Ren Chenggang，professor of English, graduated from Concordia University US in 1989. He was a graduate student in University of Wisconsin and lived in the United States for 14 years. In 1998, he returned to China and worked at the College of Foreign Languages, Yunnan Agricultural University, serving as the director of the Teaching and Testing Office and is a council member of the Yunnan Translators Association. Teaching Advanced Lilterary Translation and other courses. He has published more than 50 papers. Translation books as rhymed versions of 100 Poems of Tiananmen and 50 selected poems by Zhou Enlai, Zhu De and Chen Yi etc.
