Another year has gone away
in the blink of an eye
Looking back upon the past year
All sorts of feelings well up in my mind.
There are Surprise and sadness
There are loss and gain
There are Busy toil and hard working
But as well yearning for the better life
There is the pain of parting
But as well the joy of meeting
There is more of gratitude to the life
Gratitude for the gifts and encounters
in the life
Grateful to God provide numerous
opportunities for our friendship
Grateful that although we come from
different parts of the world
But we are like a family
Sharing together
