About poems are hard for explanation,
Not to say the hardship in creation.
While thinking a right word for the right sense,
A poet may tweak off some whiskers hence.
Verse searching could even make vexed the sky,
And frantic thinking causes the sea to dry.
Versing is not facile as writing prose,
Function words for it easier to be chosen.

I often sigh that poets suffer pain:
In order to search a word that is right,
They keep thinking hard for a desired gain,
But always could not sleep better at night.
詩人1簡介：
盧延讓（902年前后在世），字子善，范陽人。天才卓絕，為詩師薛能，詞意入僻，不競纖巧，且多健語。著有詩集一卷，《唐才子傳》傳于世。盧考二十五次進士不中，自覺名聲不響，于是寫了貓兒狗子的詩，如“狐沖官道過，狗觸店門開”，“餓貓臨鼠穴，饞犬舐魚帖”，……。雖為人所嗤，得名“動物詩人”，卻獲知名人士贊賞，名字叫響，遂中進士。其《苦吟》兩句“吟安一個字，拈斷數(shù)莖須”，卻成響名千古，流傳至今。
詩人2簡介：
韋光延，網名德者恒得，廣西桂林人。畢業(yè)于廣西師范大學漢語言文學專業(yè)，愛好文學、詩詞鑒賞與書法，熱衷于古人類石器收藏和文化遺產的傳播展覽。曾在學校、政府部門和企事業(yè)單位供職，廣西民俗攝影協(xié)會會員，發(fā)表詩歌散文和新聞報道多篇?，F(xiàn)從事旅游工作，二級研學旅行指導師。目前已整理多篇詩作歸入《不見?相見》詩集擬出版。
詩譯者簡介：
吳偉雄，廣東新會人，英語譯審。2011年中國譯協(xié)授予“資深翻譯家”榮譽證書。在《中國翻譯》，《中國科技翻譯》和《上海翻譯》發(fā)文16篇，出版編著5本。2005年在中國譯協(xié)和桂林市人民政府合辦的“桂林山水甲天下”名句國際譯文征集活動中獲連珠三獎：優(yōu)秀獎（第一名），入圍獎和鼓勵獎。
Mr. WU Weixiong，native of Xinhui, Guangdong, China, is a Prof. of Translation (English). He was member of the 4th and 5th Councils of the TAC (1998-2009), and awarded the TAC Certificate of Honor of Senior Translator in 2011. He has published 16 papers in three core journals for translation in China and 6 books on translation. He won three awards, EXCELLENT（first place）, MERIT and ACHIEVEMENT, in the international CALL FOR TRANSLATIONS OF THE NOTED SAYING “桂林山水甲天下”organized by Guilin Municipal Government and the TAC in 2005.
