前言：
親愛的大朋友、小朋友:
你們好！中英文繪本故事專欄，由文聲國際公眾平臺華裔語言表演藝術(shù)家、金牌主播，《呆家長與熊孩子》平臺語言藝術(shù)總監(jiān)蘇玉蓉老師擔(dān)任。蘇老師不僅有著扎實的舞臺表演和話筒前的豐富經(jīng)驗和實力，而且也有海外公立學(xué)校幼教經(jīng)驗，是一位資深的幼兒教師。兩年來在都市頭條、文聲國際公眾平臺、文聲世界華人藝術(shù)家公眾平臺、呆家長與熊孩子公眾平臺朗誦了百篇文學(xué)作品，皆受到聽眾的一致好評。尤其是《呆家長與熊孩子》公眾平臺開播以來，蘇姐姐講中英文故事得到兒童、成人的喜歡，所有作品在都市頭條都是精選和紅榜！

Robert was a happy little horse. He lived on a farm. He lived with his mother and father.
羅伯特是一匹快樂的小馬。他居住在一個農(nóng)場。他和他的爸爸、媽媽住在一起。
One day Robert had a party. It was his birthday. All his farm friends came to the party.
一天，羅伯特有一個聚會。那是他的生日聚會。他農(nóng)場里所有的朋友都來了。
They had a big cake." Happy birthday, Robert," said all of his friends. "Happy birthday to you."
他們有一個大蛋糕。上面寫著“羅伯特，生日快樂” “祝你生日快樂”他所有的朋友對他說。
The cake was very pretty. It had big red roses all around it. Robert liked those red roses. He put his nose right into one. He took a big sniff.
Then Robert got a funny feeling. His eyes began to itch. His nose began to itch. And then...
蛋糕非常漂亮。大朵大朵的紅玫瑰將蛋糕圍了一圈。羅伯特喜歡那些紅玫瑰。他把鼻子湊近一朵玫瑰花深深地吸了一口氣。
然后，羅伯特有一種奇怪的感覺。他的眼睛開始癢了。他的鼻子開始癢了。緊接著...
"KERCHOO!" Robert sneezed. What a sneeze! Up went his farm friends. Up went the cake. Up went the roses. And Robert fell down flat.
“阿嚏！”羅伯特打了個噴嚏。多么大的噴嚏呀！他的朋友們被打飛了。蛋糕打翻了。玫瑰花撒了一地。羅伯特自己也打趴下了。
His mother called the doctor. The doctor looked at Robert. "Say AH," said the doctor.
"AH" said Robert. "AHA!" said the doctor. "I know what made him sneeze."
他媽媽請來了醫(yī)生。醫(yī)生為他做檢查?！鞍 ?醫(yī)生說?！鞍 ?羅伯特說?！鞍」?！” “我知道是什么讓他打噴嚏了” 醫(yī)生說。
"I know I am right,' said the doctor. "You will see. Here, Robert. Take a little sniff."
Robert put his nose into those roses. He took a little sniff. Again his nose began to itch. Again his eyes began to itch.
“我知道我是對的，”醫(yī)生說，“你將會看到的。這里，羅伯特。稍微聞一下?！?/span>
羅伯特將鼻子湊近那些玫瑰花。他輕輕的聞了聞。他的鼻子又開始癢了。他的眼睛又開始癢了。
"KERCHOO!" went Robert. BANG went the window. BANG went the door. Up went the roses. And the doctor fell down flat.
“阿嚏！”羅伯特打了一個大噴嚏。砰的一聲玻璃窗碎了。砰的一聲門掉下來了。玫瑰花飛的到處都是。醫(yī)生倒在了地上。
"I was right," said the doctor. "Roses are very bad for you. There are too many roses on this farm.
You must get away from them. You must go to the city."
So Robert had to go. "Good -by," he said to his mother and father.
"I will be all right in the city. I will find work. I will find a job."
“我是對的，”醫(yī)生說。 “玫瑰對你很不利，這個農(nóng)場的玫瑰太多了。你必須得遠(yuǎn)離它們。你應(yīng)該進(jìn)城去?！?/span>
因此，羅伯特不得不離開。他跟他的爸爸媽媽說了“再見”。“我到城里會沒事的。我會找到工作。我會找到一份工作的。“ 他說。
Robert did find a job in the city. He went to work for a milk man. He took the milk man and his wagon all around the city.
It was a good job. And Robert was happy. Robert liked this kind of job.
羅伯特確實在城里找到了一份工作，他去為一個送牛奶的人工作。他帶著牛奶和送牛奶的人轉(zhuǎn)遍了整個城里。
這是一份好工作。羅伯特很愉快。他喜歡這種工作。
Then one day a man walked right next to Robert. The man had a flower in his coat. The flower in his coat was a rose.
A rose!And right under his nose!Robert got that funny feeling again.His nose began to itch.And his eyes began to itch.And...
然而有一天，一個男人從羅伯特身邊走過。這個男人的外套上有一朵花。那是一朵玫瑰花。
一朵玫瑰！正好在他的鼻子下面！羅伯特覺得那種奇怪的感覺又來了，他的鼻子開始癢癢，他的眼睛開始癢癢，然后...
'KERCHOO!" went Robert. CRASH went the wagon. SPLASH went the milk.
Up went the milk man. And the man with the rose fell down flat.
"Go away!" the milk man told Robert. "You can not work for me any more."
“阿嚏！”羅伯特打了一個大噴嚏。崩潰了馬車，飛濺了牛奶，送牛奶的人被崩上了天，帶玫瑰花的男人倒在地上。
“滾！“ 送牛奶的人對羅伯特說。“你不能再為我工作了。”
So Robert began to look for work again. But it was hard for a horse to find a job. He looked for many days.
One day he saw some horses. They had people on them. "Say! I could do work like that," said Robert. "I will ask for a job."
于是，羅伯特又重新開始找工作。但對一匹馬來說很難找到一份工作。他找了好多天。
有一天，他看到了一些馬。有人騎在馬上?！拔铱梢愿蛇@樣的活，” “我要去申請一份工作。” 羅伯特說。
Robert went to the door. A man came out. "You look like a good house," the told Robert.
"You can work for me. But you will have to work hard. You will have to do everything you are told."
羅伯特來到門口。一個男人走了出來?！澳憧雌饋硎且黄ズ民R，”那個人說。
“你可以為我工作。但你必須努力工作。你必須做到叫你做的一切工作?！?/span>
So Robert went to work. He did just as he was told. When he was told to go slow, he went slow.
When he was told to go fast, he went fast. Robert did everything he was told.
"I like this work," Robert said. "And I am going to keep this job."
所以，羅伯特就去上班了。他照他說的做。當(dāng)他被告知要放慢速度，他就放慢速度。
當(dāng)他被告知要快一點兒，他就快了。羅伯特做了被告知的一切。
“我喜歡這份工作，”羅伯特說。“而且我會保住這份工作。”
Then one day he took a woman for a ride. Everything was going well. But all at once...
"Look!" the woman said. "Look at those pretty roses. I want those roses.
Robert, take me over there at once."
然而有一天，他帶著一個女人去兜風(fēng)。一切進(jìn)展順利。但是一下子...
“看！” 這女人說。“看那些漂亮的玫瑰。我要那些玫瑰。羅伯特，馬上帶我過去?！?/span>
What could Robert do? He had to do as he was told. He took the woman to the roses. Again, he got that funny feeling.
His nose began to itch. His eyes began to itch. And...
羅伯特能做什么呢？他必須按照他的吩咐去做。他帶女人去買玫瑰，他再一次有那種奇怪的感覺。
他的鼻子開始發(fā)癢，他的眼睛開始發(fā)癢，緊接著...
"KERCHOO!" went Robert. Away went the wagon. Away went the flowers.
Up went the woman. And the flower man fell down flat. Once more Robert was out of a job.
“阿嚏！”羅伯特打了個大噴嚏， 小貨車被掀翻了，玫瑰撒了一地，女人被彈起來，而賣花人摔倒在地。羅伯特又失業(yè)了。
Robert had to look for work again.
He looked and looked. Fathers had work. Mothers had work. Everyone had some kind of work.
But there were not many jobs for a horse.
羅伯特不得不重新找工作，他看了又看。爸爸們有工作，媽媽們有工作，每一個人都有某種工作。
但是適合一匹馬的工作并不多。
Robert walked and walked. He looked and looked. Then at last Robert saw something.
羅伯特走著走著，他看了又看，他終于看到了什么。
He saw a job he could do! He could be a police horse! "I will go in. "I will ask for the job," he said.
他看到一個他可以做的工作！他可能是一匹警察馬！“我要進(jìn)去?！拔乙ド暾堖@份工作，” 他說。
When Robert came out he was a police horse. He was a good police horse. He did all kinds of police work.
當(dāng)羅伯特從里面出來時，他已經(jīng)是一匹警察馬了。他是一匹好的警馬，他做過各種警察的工作。
One day Robert worked on Bank street. Some men came down the street.
Three men! One of them had black bag. They went into the bank. Robert did not see them.
一天，羅伯特在銀行街上班，街上來了幾個男人。
三個男人！其中一個手里拿著黑色提包，他們走進(jìn)銀行。羅伯特沒看到他們。
Then all at once... Someone called out: "Help! Police! Help!"
Robert looked around. He saw the three men. They were robbers! Bank robbers!
就在這時……有人喊道：“救命！警察！救命！”
羅伯特環(huán)顧四周，他看到了那三個人，他們是強盜！銀行劫匪！
The robbers ran right at Robert. They ran right over him and away they went.
劫匪直接沖向羅伯特，他們從他身邊跑過去，逃走了。
Robert got up fast! He had to stop those robbers! But how? How could he do it?
And then... Robert saw a rose! It was not a big rose. But it was a rose!
Robert began to think. He began to think fast.
羅伯特迅速站了起來！他必須阻止那些強盜！但是怎么做？他怎么可能做到？
這時……羅伯特看到了一朵玫瑰！一朵不大的玫瑰。但那是一朵玫瑰呀！
羅伯特開始思考，他開始迅速思考。
Robert went over to that rose. He put his nose right in that rose! He took a sniff.
A big, big sniff! And he began to get that old funny feeling. His eyes began to itch. His nose began to itch. THEN...
羅伯特走向那朵玫瑰，他把鼻子湊近那朵玫瑰！
他聞了聞，深深地聞了聞，緊接著,他有了那種奇怪的感覺，他的眼睛開始發(fā)癢，他的鼻子開始發(fā)癢，然后...
Robert sneezed. Never was there a sneeze like it! Away went cats. Away went hats.
Up went dogs. Down came birds. BANG went the guns. Up went the black bag. And the robbers fell down flat.
羅伯特打了個噴嚏，從來沒有打過的如此大的噴嚏！小貓咪，帽子，狗狗都飛上了天，小鳥兒掉下來了。
砰！槍聲響了，黑色提包被打飛了，劫匪們被打翻在地。
"Hooray! Hooray for Robert!" every one yelled. The bank man was happy. The policemen were happy. Every one was happy.
Robert had stopped the robbers! He had sneezed the robbers flat!
“萬歲！羅伯特萬歲！”人們在歡呼，銀行職員很高興，警察們很高興，每個人都很開心。羅伯特阻止了劫匪！他打噴嚏抓住了劫匪！
The next day there was a party. It was for Robert.
His mother and father came. His farm friends came. The doctor came.
All the policemen came, too. Then one of them got up. "Robert," he said, "I have something for you."
第二天，專門為羅伯特開了一個慶功會。
他的爸爸媽媽來了，他農(nóng)場的朋友們來了，他的醫(yī)生來了。
所有的警察也來了。其中一位警察站起來說：“羅伯特，我要給你一樣?xùn)|西?！?/span>
"ROSES!" yelled the doctor. "Hold on to your hats. Here comes a sneeze!
Robert will sneeze us all to Chicago!"
“玫瑰！“ 醫(yī)生大喊道?！癏OLD住你的帽子。打噴嚏了 ！羅伯特的噴嚏會把我們都打到芝加哥去！”
Robert took a little sniff. His nose did NOT itch. His eyes did NOT itch.
Then Robert took a big, big sniff. He did NOT get that funny feeling.
That big Kerchoo had done it. Robert at last was all sneezed out.
And roses never made Robert sneeze again.
羅伯特輕輕的聞了聞，他的鼻子沒有癢，他的眼睛沒有癢。
然后，羅伯特深深地聞了聞。他沒有了那種奇怪的感覺。
那種大噴嚏帶來的奇怪感覺，羅伯特終于痛快地打完了所有的噴嚏。玫瑰再也不會讓羅伯特打噴嚏了。
