Listening with you together -
Rhythmic spring sound
In the hut where the chickens singing the dogs barking
I light up the smoke
In mutual admiration
There is zither music and green tea and what you planted
Green vegetables field
Cherish each other
In every inch of time
At the end of time
We must grow old happily
Having a companion
Called the most beautiful encounter
All the loves are

Gerry Spoors comes from the North-East of England and has written poetry throughout his life. Professionally ，he is a Chartered Chemist and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.His new book ‘Arthur of the Red Robe’ has been published 。

審譯教授簡介：
任誠剛，英語教授。1989年畢業(yè)于美國康科迪亞大學。系威斯康星大學研究生、旅居美國十四年。1998年回國在云南農(nóng)業(yè)大學外語學院擔任教學與測試室主任、云南省翻譯工作者協(xié)會理事、研究生高級文學翻譯等課程教學。發(fā)表論文50余篇。出版《韻譯天安門詩抄100首》《英韻周恩來朱德及陳毅詩選五十首》等譯著。
Ren Chenggang，professor of English, graduated from Concordia University US in 1989. He was a graduate student in University of Wisconsin and lived in the United States for 14 years. In 1998, he returned to China and worked at the College of Foreign Languages, Yunnan Agricultural University, serving as the director of the Teaching and Testing Office and is a council member of the Yunnan Translators Association. Teaching Advanced Lilterary Translation and other courses. He has published more than 50 papers. Translation books as rhymed versions of 100 Poems of Tiananmen and 50 selected poems by Zhou Enlai, Zhu De and Chen Yi etc.
