Although a turtle lives specially long，
Its life will also surely end some day.
Although in clouds by smog soar serpents strong,
At last they turn to dust and pass away;
A steed old lies beside the manger here,
And still longs to gallop a thousand miles;
Although men ambitious are in late year,
They never lose aspirations and styles.
The span of man's life, whether long or short,
Is never controlled by the God alone.
A man well eats and keeps the joy a lot；
He'll live so long, that surely should be known.
I feel so truly luchy and so thrill；
I want to chant my ambition at will.

In the storm are only flowers of pear.

Women wear hairpins of gold moths and sallows of snow,
With perfumes and their laughters in fidodido.
I look for her many times in th' crowd to and fro;
Suddenly looking back somewhere,
I have found the girl overthere;
Where she's standing in the dim lantern glow.

The south mountain is steep and high;
A male fox slow walks on the sly.
The way to Lu is flat and wide,
Qi’s belle is yet wed out for aye.
Since she is married to Lord Lu,
Why another one does she woo ?
The kudzu shoes are two in pair;
The laces of crown cap are two.
The way to Lu's wide here and there;
The belle is yet wed to lord Lu .
Now that she is married away,
Why does she miss homeland all day?
How should the farmers plow their crops well quite?
They should just till all their fields well
How should a man marry a wife aright?
His two parents he must first tell.
Now that your two parents agree,
How can you let her do so free?
How should somebody cut firewoods well quite?
Without sharp axe, that's not okay.
How should a man marry a wife aright?
Without go-between,there's no way.
Now that she is married with thee,
Why do you let her indulge free?

In the sandals of kudzu vine,
How can she walk on frosty ground?
She has her hands with fingers fine;
How can they sew the dress so sound?
She holds collar and waist by hands;
To help the belle to dress, she stands.
Satisfied the belle‘s in delight;
Turning her waist to left and right;
With the ivory hair pins bright.
Lo, the belle has such a mean heart;
So, th' ironic verse,I do write.
