We meet one by one journey
And meet one after another section
Those calls across thousands of rivers and mountains
And those thoughts that cross high mountains and vast waters
Are the peaceful and quiet left to us by the years
And the warmth that life bestows on us
The years have mottled the memory
And also enriched our life experience
Time is a song
Never old to sing though flashing by
The years have thicken the colour of life
There are fragrance of flowers and dreams
There is sunshine and you
Time is a song,
Written over and over again by us
Written as alcohol like wine
Written till the sceneries are beautiful and quiet
And written without stopping until thoroughly
Passing through the years
Though we’ve undergone thousands of hills and rills
Our original intention remains
Time is a song
Sitting opposite, we chat over tea
Looking up, we watch swallows flying in the clouds
While bowing down, we see flowers on the water

It plays the music of life
The sights on the journey are the most beautiful words
The best echo is our mood along the way

吳偉雄，廣東新會人，英語譯審。2011年中國譯協(xié)授予“資深翻譯家”榮譽證書。在《中國翻譯》，《中國科技翻譯》和《上海翻譯》發(fā)文16篇，出版編著5本。2005年在中國譯協(xié)和桂林市人民政府合辦的“桂林山水甲天下”名句國際譯文征集活動中獲連珠三獎：優(yōu)秀獎（第一名），入圍獎和鼓勵獎。
Mr. WU Weixiong，native of Xinhui, Guangdong, China, is a Prof. of Translation (English). He was member of the 4th and 5th Councils of the TAC (1998-2009), and awarded the TAC Certificate of Honor of Senior Translator in 2011. He has published 16 papers in three core journals for translation in China and 6 books on translation. He won three awards, EXCELLENT（first place）, MERIT and ACHIEVEMENT, in the international CALL FOR TRANSLATIONS OF THE NOTED SAYING “桂林山水甲天下”organized by Guilin Municipal Government and the TAC in 2005.
