As e’er, the wind does not tenderness show,
The riot of colors blown everywhere.
The shade of curtain does not cover my woe;
I seem to feel the same thing as last year.
The spring is gone, why should I have done such?
I shed tears while all heights I’ve tried to climb.
Now I should drink the cup, drink deep, drink much.
How many times can I be drunk through prime?
晏幾道（1038—1110），字叔原，號(hào)小山，撫州臨川文港沙河（今屬江西省南昌市進(jìn)賢縣）人。北宋著名詞人，是婉約派的重要作家。有《小山詞》留世。 YAN Jidao (1038-1110), styled Original, dubbed Hill, born in Wengangsha River, Linchuan, Fuzhou (present-day Jinxian County, Nanchang, Jiangxi Province). A famous lyricist in Northern Song dynasty, he was an important writer of Graceful and Restrained School. Yan’s Lyrics of Hill is existant. (韓上上 譯)
