西子杭州昭盛宴，雷鋒塔下夢終圓。
十年利劍今爭秀，百煉鋼刀未老閑。
競技精神承友誼，中華大地聚歡顏。
Scene of Southern Yangtse water connects with sky,
Sportsmen of Asian Games the delicate flame light .
The West Lake of Hangzhou hosts the grand feast,
Dreams under Lei FengTower come true in the east.
Ten years of sword valiantly and bravely drawn,
Steel knife tempers with fire fro every eve to dawn.
Competitive spirit builds and bears the friendship,
On this land the host leads the great championship.

（一）
北雁南飛上碧霄，滹沱披彩盡妖嬈。
晴空萬里浮云鶴，綠水千灣秀玉腰。
丹桂濃妝吟誦曲，紅楓淡抹醉人陶。
落花雖是多凋敝，秋月何來一樣潮。

Autumn Rhyme of Hutuo River
（1）
North wild geese southwards fly on the azure sky,
Hutuo River wears enchanting dress th’ spirit high.
On clear sky fly the cranes for a ten-thousand mile,
Green water has a zig-zag flow with jade waist awhile.
Heavy cinnamon makes up with joyful chant well,
Tourists intoxicate with touches of red maple smell.
Although the falling flowers are kind of depressed,
Under th’ autumn moon giant tides come in full dressed.

秋月何來一樣潮，落花雖敗亦妖嬈。
紅楓浸染千層面，丹桂香飄百媚嬌。
北雁南翔歸故里，東晴西雨浪擊濤。
誰堪潤色滹沱水？飲馬豪情上碧宵。

Autumn moon emerges when comes the tide good,
Though th’ flowers fall they’re also enchanting.
Red maple dyes layers of leaves in wood,
Orange osmanthus in myriad states charming.
North wild geese fly southwards returning home,
East shines the sun west in rain n’ wave rolls wave.
Who can embellish Hutuo River? come,
Drink water n’ gallop on th’ blue night horses brave.
英譯教授簡介：
任誠剛，英語教授。1989年畢業(yè)于美國康科迪亞大學。系威斯康星大學研究生、旅居美國十四年。1998年回國在云南農(nóng)業(yè)大學外語學院擔任教學與測試室主任、云南省翻譯工作者協(xié)會理事、研究生高級文學翻譯等課程教學。發(fā)表論文50余篇。出版《韻譯天安門詩抄100首》《英韻周恩來朱德及陳毅詩選五十首》等譯著。
Ren Chenggang，professor of English, graduated from Concordia University US in 1989. He was a graduate student in University of Wisconsin and lived in the United States for 14 years. In 1998, he returned to China and worked at the College of Foreign Languages, Yunnan Agricultural University, serving as the director of the Teaching and Testing Office and is a council member of the Yunnan Translators Association. Teaching Advanced Lilterary Translation and other courses. He has published more than 50 papers. Translation books as rhymed versions of 100 Poems of Tiananmen and 50 selected poems by Zhou Enlai, Zhu De and Chen Yi etc.
