People with different skin colours get together in Sydney, Australia
Hand in hand, They hold up a piece of sky
Heart to heart, they bathe under the sunlight
At this moment
We miss our home so much
We are all descendants of the dragon
The Chinese giant dragon is vigorous and promising
Like the sea contains all rivers
With open and broad mind
It's the totem of our Chinese national spirit
Riding the wind with courage
Soaring into the clouds and breaking through the fog,
flying forward indomitably
Looking to the future
Overseas Chinese
Follow the billions descendants of the dragon
Full of pride and ambition
With the joy of victory
To carry the noble mission
Much forward without hesitation

We'll turn our hope for the New Year
into vigorous power
We'll make all the goodness
Accompany us through all the time during the new year
We expect the bright sunshine will
Bring us blooming flowers with spring greetings

We enjoy happy and wonderful life
The dance of the sea speedboat
Like flying the skirt of happiness
Weaving a romantic picture of our future
To start a peaceful and healthy melody in the new year
