就這樣相守相依

失去了山

Towering and straight is the majestic mountain
Delicate and graceful is the lingering flowing water
In this way they keep staying together
Mountains cannot live without water
Because water is the pulse of mountains
Without water
Mountains lose their lives
Water cannot live without mountains
Because mountains are the cradle of water
Without mountains, water will not feel warm
Mountains and waters
Cling to each other
Just like the lovers in love
Waiting together for the unchanging oath
Until the seas run dry and the rocks crumble.

Wang Zhongquan, male, graduated from Fudan University School of Medicine with a postgraduate degree, engaged in clinical and medical research, and has retired. Love literature, poetry and music. Now living in the US.

吳偉雄，廣東新會(huì)人，英語(yǔ)譯審。2011年中國(guó)譯協(xié)授予“資深翻譯家”榮譽(yù)證書。在《中國(guó)翻譯》，《中國(guó)科技翻譯》和《上海翻譯》發(fā)文16篇，出版編著5本。2005年在中國(guó)譯協(xié)和桂林市人民政府合辦的“桂林山水甲天下”名句國(guó)際譯文征集活動(dòng)中獲連珠三獎(jiǎng)：優(yōu)秀獎(jiǎng)（第一名），入圍獎(jiǎng)和鼓勵(lì)獎(jiǎng)。
Mr. WU Weixiong，native of Xinhui, Guangdong, China, is a Prof. of Translation (English). He was member of the 4th and 5th Councils of the TAC (1998-2009), and awarded the TAC Certificate of Honor of Senior Translator in 2011. He has published 16 papers in three core journals for translation in China and 6 books on translation. He won three awards, EXCELLENT（first place）, MERIT and ACHIEVEMENT, in the international CALL FOR TRANSLATIONS OF THE NOTED SAYING “桂林山水甲天下”organized by Guilin Municipal Government and the TAC in 2005.
