由新中友好協(xié)會奧克蘭分會、新西蘭中國書畫院主辦的‘慶祝新中建交52周年—首屆新西蘭國際藝術(shù)名家精品邀請展’暨寫生活動將于11月中旬在奧克蘭舉辦。
本次活動特別邀請中國書畫家吳泉棠先生，他的到來將給本次活動帶來鳥語花香和古樸清幽的詩情畫意。

吳泉棠，1956年出生，浙江衢州人，現(xiàn)居北京。重彩鄉(xiāng)情創(chuàng)始人、紅墻藝術(shù)家代表、當(dāng)代新安畫派掌門、中國美術(shù)家協(xié)會會員、中國畫廊聯(lián)盟專職畫家、文化部高級畫家、人民畫院副院長、香港國際畫院山水畫藝委會副主席、中央美術(shù)學(xué)院特聘教授、北京民族大學(xué)教授/碩士生導(dǎo)師、中國美術(shù)家協(xié)會創(chuàng)作室畫家、海外藝術(shù)文化推廣大使、中國海外藝術(shù)文化杰出貢獻者、畫壇最具影響力的浙派花鳥畫扛鼎之人。

有人評價說：吳泉棠的作品沒有像古代文人那樣去畫幾乎沒有人煙的觀念性山水，也沒有像當(dāng)代人那樣鉆進名山大川去畫長林崇岡、曠野高山，或照搬西方潮流，擯棄傳統(tǒng)精神，而是修改以往自己畫家鄉(xiāng)的畫法，拉近自然與人生活的距離，把日漸消失的江南老房子和農(nóng)家民居生活描繪得古老純樸，親切鮮活，讓欣賞者獲得某種健康人生的感悟。
在他的作品中可見以俯視的形式，強調(diào)平面分割，淡化空間縱深，表現(xiàn)近、中景，既施以大面積的重彩渲染，又加之以精致的勾勒、點虱、皴擦，使畫面形成疏與密、曲與直、線與面、濃與淡、色與墨的多層次對比，使畫面具有筆墨的豐富性、表現(xiàn)自然的鮮活性和色彩的潤澤明麗性等特點，極力營造一種清新、寧靜、安詳?shù)姆諊?，呈現(xiàn)出古樸、清幽的詩情畫意，讓欣賞者在獲得美的享受的同時，有助于消解內(nèi)心的浮躁心理，從中找到各自的精神皈依。通過多年的努力，吳泉棠成為了新安畫派的開拓者、引領(lǐng)者！

新西蘭中國書畫院簡介
‘新西蘭中國書畫院’在新西蘭依法注冊登記，是合法的文化社團組織。
書畫院以研究、傳承、普及、提高中國書畫創(chuàng)作為宗旨，以學(xué)習(xí)、交流、寫生、培訓(xùn)、講座為方式；以作品畫冊為宣傳；以書、畫藝術(shù)為橋梁，以促進新、中兩國友誼，加深兩國人民互相了解為目的！
