On August 20, 2025, under the meticulous planning and organization of Zhou Rujin, President of the Linyi City Chinese Chess Association, and Li Shiji, Vice President, the 'Linyi Shenmeng Cup' 2025 Linyi City Youth Chinese Chess Ranking Tournament was held at the Card Promotion Center on Jin Yi Road and Linxi Second Road in Lanshan District, Linyi City, Shandong Province. The event was hosted by the Linyi City Chinese Chess Association, Zhongpai Intellectual Sports Culture and Sports Innovation Base, and Yimeng Chess Institute, sponsored by Linyi Shenmeng Import and Export Co., Ltd. 本次比賽有來(lái)自臨沂及周邊地市共60位少年參與，最小的年齡7歲，他們?cè)诒荣愔姓J(rèn)真、細(xì)致、反復(fù)的思考和分析,象掑也是對(duì)于棋手的腦力訓(xùn)練，能提高思維能力
This competition featured 60 young participants from Linyi and surrounding areas, with the youngest being 7 years old. They thought and analyzed carefully, meticulously, and repeatedly during the event. Chess is also a mental exercise for players, which can improve their thinking skills.

經(jīng)過(guò)七輪的比賽，來(lái)自江蘇省連云港市的王思朗奪得冠軍，郯城縣博育棋社的任洪志獲得亞軍，云峰棋社的王奕翔獲得季軍
After seven rounds of competition, Wang Silang from Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province won the championship, Ren Hongzhi from Tancheng Boyu Chess Club secured second place, and Wang Yixiang from Yunfeng Chess Club took third place.

象棋手要有勝不驕、敗不餒，沉著冷靜、積極進(jìn)取、遵規(guī)守紀(jì)、懂禮貌的良好品質(zhì),賽事的成功舉辦，有力促進(jìn)了這一傳統(tǒng)國(guó)粹在沂蒙大地的傳承與弘揚(yáng)。
This competition effectively improved the competitive level of the participants, further promoting the popularization and development of youth chess. It played a significant role in discovering and nurturing potential chess talents. The phrases 'horse moves in an 'R' shape, elephant moves in a '田' shape, and chariot moves along lines' contain profound meanings, showcasing wisdom in every move and the great significance of strategic art. Terms like 'leading the charge', 'meeting a worthy opponent', and 'rear guard attack', which originated from the Chu-Han Contention and chess terminology, have also become common expressions in daily communication. Chess players should possess good qualities such as not being arrogant in victory, not discouraged by defeat, staying calm and composed, being proactive, adhering to rules, and being polite. The successful hosting of the event has significantly promoted the inheritance and promotion of this traditional national treasure on the Yimeng land.
