—— 記一個(gè)真實(shí)的故事

故事發(fā)生在溫村的一座大公園
夏日的上午，陽光明媚而溫暖
女衛(wèi)生間的門開了
走出來一位身著牡丹花旗袍的女子
手里提著一個(gè)黑色垃圾袋
人們的目光，不由自主投向她
我的視線和她打了個(gè)正面
我愣住了，她卻平靜地說：
“人稍有清醒，
我已幫她擦洗干凈，換了衣褲
我的母親也曾有過這種情況
都是由我給她擦洗的。”
仿佛什么都沒有發(fā)生
聲音竟如此淡然
面對暈倒的老婦人
身體發(fā)出難聞的氣味
退縮，還是向前
果斷就在一剎那
甚至來不及考慮尊嚴(yán)
急救車來了
簡單的測試之后
擔(dān)架抬起病人
車門半掩
“需要一位陪護(hù)”
聲音剛落
又有一位志愿擔(dān)當(dāng)者
毫不遲疑跑上前
鳴響的車聲，漸行漸遠(yuǎn)…
后來得知，患者的兒子
外出去了很遠(yuǎn)的地方
老婦人身邊
無一人照看
據(jù)那位陪護(hù)者的先生說：
“妻子已經(jīng)七旬開外
她不會說英語
只能緊緊地守護(hù)在病人身旁
直到患者好友趕到醫(yī)院
回到家時(shí)
已是晚飯時(shí)間?！?/span>
親眼目睹
若不寫下來，我會久久地忐忑不安
我在想：何謂親情？血緣？
愛是什么？又如何體現(xiàn)？
Relay of Love
—A true story

In a vast Vancouver park
On a summer morning of bright,warm light
The restroom door opened
A woman in a peony silk cheongsam
a black garbage bag in her hand
All eyes involuntarily turned to her
Mine met hers head-on
I astonished, yet she spoke with calm:
"She's regained consciousness.
I've cleaned her up and changed her clothes.
My mother had a similar experience,
and I was the one who washed her."
Her voice was as calm
as if nothing had happened
Facing the fainted elderly woman
whose body heavy with a sour odor
To retreat, or to step forward?
Decisiveness in a split second
Even no time consider dignity
The ambulance came
After a brief test
The stretcher rose
The door left ajar
"We need a companion."
As soon as the voice uttered
Another volunteer, at once
ran forward, without hesitation
The honking car horn faded away...
Later learned that the patient's son
had gone far away
leaving the elderly woman
She was alone
According to the husband of the caregiver
"My wife is over seventy years old
She doesn't speak English
Who stayed by her side
until the patient's friend reached the hospital
When she got home
It was already dinnertime."
I witnessed it with my own eyes
Anxious for a long time if I don't write it down
I wonder: What is family affection? Blood ties?
What is love? How is it manifested?
