By Hometown's Profound Affection
Beneath the October dawn, I gaze with deep devotion,
At the five-star red flag, billowing proudly in motion.
Like an eternal flame, like the sun breaking through cloud,
It glows resplendently in history’s vast, boundless crowd.
Looking back, years surge like a roaring tide,
A magnificent epic carved with blood and fire wide.
Foreign powers’ iron hooves crushed our land’s peace without mercy,
War’s smoke and flames filled China’s sky relentlessly.
Yet we never bowed, nor lost our way,
Countless martyrs held aloft the nation’s unyielding sway.
With lives and blood, they defended dignity and hope firm,
At the long night’s end, they welcomed the dawn’s first term.
Ah! Behold! Gunfire at Nanchang’s walls rent the sky,
Sparks on Jinggang Mountain blazed into a prairie high.
The Long March’s footprints traced a journey of faith’s own call,
The nation’s spine built a steel wall in the anti-war brawl.
New China was reborn, baptized by blood and flame,
Like a phoenix rising, like a dragon soaring, eastward it came.
We bade farewell to past humiliation and poverty’s chain,
Forging the radiant dawn of the Republic’s reign.
On the new era’s journey, we sail through waves with might,
The tide of science and technology surges, vast and bright.
High-speed trains, like dragons, crisscross the land’s經(jīng)緯 line,
Shenzhou, like a roc, soars in the starry frontier’s design.
Rural revitalization fills fields with hope’s sweet scent,
Poverty alleviation makes dreams bloom with golden intent.
The Belt and Road weaves bridges of friendship worldwide,
The Community with a Shared Future plays peace’s melody wide.
Ah! Motherland, you are the eternal symphony of my life,
Every inch of your land fills my heart with profound strife.
Every beat of your heart resonates with mine, side by side.
On this solemn festival, I sing aloud with pride,
May your future unfold a grand scroll of prosperity’s tide,
May you thrive forever, shining with the stars, far and wide.
