【編者按】2025年12月30日晚上8點(diǎn)，帥亞高中隆重舉行高一年級(jí)英語單詞比賽頒獎(jiǎng)大會(huì)，為本次為期兩個(gè)月的單詞集中識(shí)記活動(dòng)圓滿收官?；顒?dòng)現(xiàn)場(chǎng)，帥亞教育集團(tuán)董事長丁欽華、孟子教育研究院院長孟國泰、帥亞高中校長杜朝能先后登臺(tái)發(fā)表重要講話，寄語全體師生深耕英語學(xué)習(xí)、精進(jìn)學(xué)業(yè)之路，并為本次比賽斬獲一二等獎(jiǎng)的優(yōu)秀學(xué)子隆重頒發(fā)獎(jiǎng)金和獎(jiǎng)狀，全體英語老師為三等獎(jiǎng)獲獎(jiǎng)?wù)哳C發(fā)了獎(jiǎng)品和獎(jiǎng)狀，共同見證了同學(xué)們的成長與榮光。高一年級(jí)主任袁志國激情主持了頒獎(jiǎng)會(huì)。今特選取孟國泰院長的英漢語對(duì)照演講稿，予以刊載，以饗廣大讀友。
A Solid Foundation with Scientific Methods, Steady Progress with Firm Faith
Dear teachers and students,
Good evening!
This is my first time to make a speech in English.
Tonight, we gather to celebrate the end of our two-month intensive vocabulary memorization program. Through the exciting competition, 33 students have won awards. Congratulations to all of you! You’ve done an amazing job!

So we should remember:
SONG OF INDEPENDENCE
If leaning on the wall,
sooner or later it will fall.
If relying on your mom,
she will never keep young at all.
Only by depending on yourself，
will you be able to achieve all.
As we review our English learning journey, we have to face some common difficulties together. First, some students lack enough motivation and enthusiasm for English learning, and don’t hold a clear attitude towards it. Second, our English learning atmosphere is not strong enough and the language environment needs to be improved. Third, the ways and methods of learning English are old-fashioned and single. Fourth, many students are not strong-willed when learning English. Fifth, we haven’t kept firm good personalities essential for English learning, like diligence, courage, initiative, confidence and optimism. Sixth, it’s quite common that we spend plenty of time on English but get very low learning efficiency.
To help us get over these difficulties, I have put forward the wonderful Five Happiness Learning Method.
BH, is the guarantee of high and happy English learning.
EH, is the source of high and happy English learning.
IH, is the pillar of high and happy English learning.
CH, is the soul of high and happy English learning.
HH, is the destination of high and happy English learning.
Our Shuaiya High School is a perfect place for study, with tall old trees, green shade everywhere and nice birds singing around fragrant flowers.
We all know that vocabulary memorization is the hardest part in English learning. Vocabulary is just like bricks and tiles. Once we master enough words, building a tall building of English skills—listening, speaking, reading and writing—will be just around the corner.
Here I’d like to share the magic keys of English learning with you: catch the characteristics, follow the rules, build frameworks and establish systems. Words have their own characteristics, grammar has its characteristics, and sentence patterns have more obvious characteristics. For example, we can group words like at, cat, mat, hat, sat, bat, rat, gat and pat to memorize them better. For grammar, we can focus on the changes of noun singular and plural forms, as well as the changes of comparative and superlative forms of adjectives. For sentence patterns, we can master typical ones like I have…, there be… and Only in this way can we… easily.
And here is a great strategy for short passages: learn words, grammar and sentence patterns together in short passages. When you remember the passages, you will naturally remember all the words, grammar rules and sentence patterns in them.
There is also a secret of learning from the Learning Pyramid.
Listening and reading is just a start.
Thinking and speaking is a half way.
Teaching and using is the destination.

親愛的同學(xué)們、老師們：
晚上好！
這是我第一次用英語做演講。
今晚，我們齊聚于此，為為期兩個(gè)月的單詞集中識(shí)記活動(dòng)畫上句點(diǎn)。經(jīng)過本次比賽的激烈角逐，共有33名同學(xué)脫穎而出、斬獲獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，恭喜你們，你們真的非常棒！
回顧我們的英語學(xué)習(xí)之路，我們需要共同正視幾個(gè)普遍存在的難題。第一，部分同學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)英語的動(dòng)力不足、積極性欠缺，對(duì)待英語學(xué)習(xí)的態(tài)度也不夠明確。第二，我們的英語學(xué)習(xí)氛圍不夠濃厚，語言學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境也亟待改善。第三，現(xiàn)有的英語學(xué)習(xí)方式方法陳舊、形式單一。第四，不少同學(xué)在英語學(xué)習(xí)中缺乏堅(jiān)韌的意志力。第五，大家在英語學(xué)習(xí)中所需的優(yōu)良品格，比如勤奮、勇敢、主動(dòng)、自信與樂觀，還未能始終堅(jiān)守。第六，很多同學(xué)在英語上投入了大量時(shí)間，學(xué)習(xí)效率卻十分低下。
為了幫助大家攻克這些學(xué)習(xí)難關(guān)，我提出了實(shí)用高效的“五樂學(xué)習(xí)法”。
體樂，是高效快樂學(xué)習(xí)英語的保障。
情樂，是高效快樂學(xué)習(xí)英語的源泉。
智樂，是高效快樂學(xué)習(xí)英語的支柱。
智樂，是高效快樂學(xué)習(xí)英語的支柱。
創(chuàng)樂，是高效快樂學(xué)習(xí)英語的靈魂。
和樂，是高效快樂學(xué)習(xí)英語的歸宿。
我們帥亞高中古木參天、綠樹成蔭、鳥語花香，是求學(xué)讀書的絕佳之地。
大家都清楚，英語學(xué)習(xí)中最難的環(huán)節(jié)就是單詞記憶。單詞好比一磚一瓦，只要我們積累掌握足夠的單詞，搭建起英語聽說讀寫能力的高樓大廈，便指日可待。
在這里，我想和大家分享英語學(xué)習(xí)的法寶：抓特征、循規(guī)律、搭框架、建體系。單詞有其自身特征，語法有其特征，句型的特征則更為突出。比如單詞可以歸類記憶，像at、cat、mat、hat、sat、bat、rat、gat、pat這類單詞就可集中識(shí)記；語法上，我們可以重點(diǎn)掌握名詞單復(fù)數(shù)的變化規(guī)則、形容詞比較級(jí)與最高級(jí)的變化規(guī)律；句型方面，熟練掌握I have…、there be…、Only in this way can we…這類經(jīng)典句型就十分關(guān)鍵。
還有一個(gè)學(xué)習(xí)短文的好方法：把單詞、語法、句型融入短文當(dāng)中一同學(xué)習(xí)，記住了短文，自然也就記住了文中的單詞、語法和句型。
學(xué)習(xí)也有一個(gè)秘訣，這是學(xué)習(xí)金字塔給我們的啟示：
聽過看過，不算學(xué)過，
思過講過，才算學(xué)過，
教過用過，才算真學(xué)過。
