竹子的生長(zhǎng)，恰似一場(chǎng)漫長(zhǎng)的蟄伏。它在黑暗幽深的土壤中，靜默地扎根，汲取著滋養(yǎng)的精華，為未來(lái)的崛起積聚力量。
竹子的堅(jiān)韌，亦是竹笛的品格象征。無(wú)論風(fēng)雨如何肆虐，它皆能傲然挺立，不屈于困境。那悠揚(yáng)的竹笛之聲，在風(fēng)雨中依舊婉轉(zhuǎn)，傳遞著堅(jiān)韌不屈的力量。
中國(guó)竹笛的歷史可追溯至悠悠千年以前，伴隨中華民族的發(fā)展而不斷演進(jìn)。工匠們以精湛絕倫的技藝，將竹子雕琢成一件件精美絕倫的樂(lè)器。從選竹、制笛、調(diào)音，每一環(huán)節(jié)皆蘊(yùn)含著智慧與傳承。這件來(lái)自東方的古老樂(lè)器，從民間逐漸地發(fā)展，最終成為了文人雅士鐘愛(ài)的藝術(shù)表達(dá)形式。
這首《萬(wàn)物生長(zhǎng)》竹笛樂(lè)曲，是由中國(guó)香港的青年竹笛演奏家Mia特邀作曲家Bobby創(chuàng)作的全新現(xiàn)代竹笛作品，意指在這個(gè)廣袤的宇宙中，萬(wàn)物皆在蓬勃生長(zhǎng)。從微小的細(xì)胞到宏偉的星系，生命的力量無(wú)處不在。而在這無(wú)盡的生長(zhǎng)之中，我們也在尋覓著自己的存在意義。
在這紛繁復(fù)雜的世界里，我們常常迷失在外界的喧囂與干擾中，忘卻了內(nèi)心真正的聲音。然而，當(dāng)我們停下匆忙的腳步，靜心聆聽時(shí)，便能感受到那來(lái)自內(nèi)心深處的呼喚——找尋真正的自己。
尋找自己并非易事，它需要我們坦誠(chéng)地面對(duì)自己的內(nèi)心，敢于探索未知的領(lǐng)域。這是一個(gè)不斷蛻變與成長(zhǎng)的過(guò)程，就像萬(wàn)物在四季更迭中經(jīng)歷的輪回。

Album Introduction
The album "FLOURISHING" tells a story of growth similar to the quiet perseverance of bamboo. It describes how bamboo roots silently in the dark, rich soil, absorbing nutrients and gathering strength for its eventual rise. The resilience of bamboo is also a symbol for the character of the bamboo flute. Despite harsh conditions, it stands proud and unyielding, its melodious sound echoing resilience and strength through storms.
The history of the China bamboo flute stretches back thousands of years, evolving alongside Chinese civilization. Craftsmen with unparalleled skill transform bamboo into exquisitely crafted musical instruments. Every step—from selecting the bamboo, making the flute, to tuning—embodies wisdom and heritage. This ancient instrument from the East has gradually evolved from a folk tool to a refined expression of art cherished by scholars and literati.
The FLOURISHING album, a modern pop China bamboo flute composition, was created by Mia, a young bamboo flutist from Hong Kong China, and the composer Bobby. It represents the vigorous growth of all things in the vast universe, from tiny cells to grand galaxies, with life's force omnipresent. Amidst this endless growth, we seek our own meaning of existence. Often lost in the chaos of the world, we tend to forget our true inner voice. But by pausing to listen, we hear the call from deep within to discover our true selves.
Finding oneself is not easy. It demands honesty with one's emotions and the courage to venture into the unknown. It is a process of transformation and growth, like the cycles of nature through the seasons. In our search, the natural world around us offers lessons—the majesty of mountains and rivers teaches resilience and tolerance, while the movement of celestial bodies imparts knowledge of patterns and eternity. As we grow alongside all things, we draw wisdom and strength from this journey.
"FLOURISHING" is a bamboo flute piece from the ancient East, offering a gentle yet powerful force, inspiring you to always strive towards your dreams and aspirations.

Musician Introduction
吳洺蕙，旅美竹笛演奏家，現(xiàn)就讀于巴德音樂(lè)學(xué)院，為2025年巴德協(xié)奏曲比賽獲獎(jiǎng)?wù)?。本科畢業(yè)于中央音樂(lè)學(xué)院。她是竹笛品牌“秋筠廬”的創(chuàng)始人兼藝術(shù)總監(jiān)，城市琴房簽約音樂(lè)家講師，巴德中西樂(lè)團(tuán)成員。
吳洺蕙長(zhǎng)期致力于竹笛與西洋樂(lè)器的跨文化合作。她曾多次與美國(guó)紐約巴德中西樂(lè)團(tuán)合作演出，登上美國(guó)紐約林肯中心、卡內(nèi)基音樂(lè)廳等國(guó)際一流音樂(lè)殿堂，并曾于2025年6月隨團(tuán)赴中國(guó)巡演。作為獨(dú)奏家，她亦多次與巴德中國(guó)音樂(lè)混合室內(nèi)樂(lè)團(tuán)合作，活躍于中西音樂(lè)交融的舞臺(tái)。
在當(dāng)代音樂(lè)創(chuàng)作領(lǐng)域，2024年4月28日，她與作曲家文博合作的作品《萬(wàn)物生長(zhǎng)》在 Apple Music、網(wǎng)易云音樂(lè)、QQ音樂(lè)等平臺(tái)全球上線，同名MV也在各大音樂(lè)平臺(tái)同步上線。她還參與創(chuàng)作并演繹多部室內(nèi)樂(lè)作品，包括原創(chuàng)作品笛子與大提琴二重奏《往日回光》，以及合作創(chuàng)作笛子、大提琴與鋼琴三重奏《山溪月》《霓裳對(duì)語(yǔ)》，持續(xù)拓展竹笛在當(dāng)代室內(nèi)樂(lè)語(yǔ)境中的表現(xiàn)空間。
2024年11月，吳洺蕙作為演出嘉賓代表中國(guó)亮相智利圣地亞哥國(guó)際書展，并多次受邀參與國(guó)家大劇院藝術(shù)沙龍及香港駐京辦相關(guān)拍攝與藝術(shù)項(xiàng)目。
吳洺蕙通過(guò)跨文化合作與當(dāng)代表演實(shí)踐，不斷打破傳統(tǒng)邊界，讓竹笛在世界舞臺(tái)上煥發(fā)新的生命力，呈現(xiàn)這一中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)樂(lè)器兼具詩(shī)意與張力的當(dāng)代表達(dá)。
Minghui Mia Wu is a dizi (Chinese flute) performer based in the United States. She is currently studying at the Bard College Conservatory of Music and is the winner of the 2025 Bard Concerto Competition. She received her bachelor’s degree from the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Wu is the founder and artistic director of the bamboo flute brand Qiuyunlu, a contracted artist and lecturer at MUSEME Music Group, and a member of the Bard East West Ensemble.
Wu has long been dedicated to cross-cultural collaborations between the bamboo flute and Western musical instruments. She has performed with the Bard Chinese Music Ensemble in New York, USA on numerous occasions, graced world-class prestigious music venues including Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall in New York, and embarked on a China tour with the ensemble in June 2025. As a soloist, she has also collaborated with the Bard Chinese Mixed Chamber Music Ensemble many times, shining on stages where Chinese and Western music converge.
In the field of contemporary music, on April 28, 2024, her collaborative work with composer Bo Wen, Flourishing, was released globally on Apple Music, NetEase Cloud Music, and QQ Music, with the official music video launched simultaneously across major platforms. She has also created and performed a number of chamber works, including the original duo for dizi and cello Light of Yesterday, as well as co-created trios for dizi, cello, and piano, Moonlight Over the Mountain Stream and Silken Whispers, continually expanding the expressive possibilities of dizi within contemporary chamber music.
In November 2024, Wu was invited as a guest performer representing China at the Santiago International Book Fair in Chile. She has also been repeatedly invited to participate in art salons at the National Centre for the Performing Arts and in artistic projects and filming organized by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Beijing.
Through cross-cultural collaboration and contemporary performance practice, Wu seeks to transcend traditional boundaries, bringing renewed vitality to the bamboo flute on the world stage and presenting this traditional Chinese instrument with both poetic sensitivity and dramatic expressive power in a contemporary context.
