Seven-Character Regulated Verse ·Roar
沐 風(fēng)

崩騰咆哮似驚潮，
It surges, roars like tidal spray,
磅礴氤氳郁勃驕。
So dense, so vast in proud array.
日下飛流穿岫壑，
Neath sun, through peaks, the rapids fly,
云間雨沫灑岧峣。
From clouds, rain-mist on summits high.
山傾裂岸怒風(fēng)嘯，
Mountains quake, rage winds blow,
石兀凌空狂火燒。
Stones stand, wild flames glow.
盤壟棱層多秀色，
Terraced fields in green delight,
垠崖洞豁走龍飆。
Cliffs and caves host dragons' flight.

Note: This poem follows the rhyme scheme of the Chinese classical poetry form "Qiyan Lüshi" (seven-character regulated verse) using the "Er Xiao" rhyme category in the "Pingshui Yun" system, with the first line rhyming.
