掠過黑暗的曠野
一只螢火蟲
兩只三只……
終於引發(fā)
一陣眩目的閃電
霍霍照亮
山重水復
溝壑縱橫的
臉龐

Flickering across the dark open space
a firefly...
then two...
then three...
soon they multiply
become flashes of lightning
reveal ragged hills
and mountains
overflowing rivers
and ravines
of a face

自然有點誇張
但我明明看到
路邊一朵小花
因你的走近
而燦爛輝煌
SUMMER
To say that your smile
lights up the whole garden
is of course an exaggeration
but I did indeed see
a flower bloom
at your approach

非馬共出版了23本中英文詩集丶3本散文集及7本譯詩集（包括《讓盛宴開始——我喜愛的英文詩》丶法國詩人《裴外的詩》，土耳其詩人希克梅特的《鐵籠里的獅子》等）。另外他還編選了幾本中國大陸及臺灣現(xiàn)代詩選。他的詩被譯成十多種語言，并被收入臺灣丶大陸丶英國及德國等地的教科書。曾任伊利諾州詩人協(xié)會會長。現(xiàn)居芝加哥。
